We’re living in a time in which we are all citizens of the world, we have left behind the fear of great international conflict and have paved the way for economic and cultural exchange among countries and societies.
We find ourselves at the edge of the possible return of the “ugly American” way, the classic “gringo”, who comes back to have it his way by instigating violence and war with an aggressive and highly offensive language towards his fellow countries.

Locking oneself behind walls is the result of fear, which is poorly advised. Let us look back on history once more: the Berlin Wall did not stop the progress of freedom, as well as the Chinese Wall didn’t do stop its enemies.
The answer lies today at the hands of the United States Congress, who have the opportunity to work with wisdom and compassion on an Immigration Reform, which should be fair and just. Through this, we will avoid trade wars, which oppose the foundation that has made the North American nations great.
World leadership lies on the shoulders of the United States, but today, that leadership is being questioned due to the actions of a single man, Donald Trump. My question for this great nation is: Will you continue to allow your authority and self-image to be diminished or will you raise your voice and regain your position in front of the world?
World order cannot be forced; instead, it has to be nourished with a fair distribution of power, equal trading opportunities that strengthen the world economy and by working together towards global peace accords.
Today I hold my ground against the great threat that is Donald Trump; Mexico and the rest of the world are deeply offended and worried.
